In November 2020 Magistral LTD successfully finished ballistic tests and certification of bullet resistant glass with thickness of 62 mm according to BR7NS protection level which is 5-15 mm less than most of the variants available on the market. Certificate is issued by French laboratory Banc National D’Epreuve. Ballistic glass of BR7NS protection level of EN 1063 standard ensures protection against 7,62*51 mm armor-piercing (AP) bullets .308 Win type.
Glazing mass decrease if 62 mm glass of BR7NS protection level is used reaches more than 10% so more payload onboard of the vehicle is available.
